However, there are quite a few who are unhappy with Facebook at the moment. This is to Google&#039;s advantage. 

Spam is a non-issue at this point, there is none, at all. Safety issues are easily handled, plus you have control over all your data (it can be exported with a single click).

I believe they launched this at the perfect time. If this doesn&#039;t work, nothing will. Plus, it&#039;s still a beta product, we have no idea what the final product will be like.
